Dynamical qualitative analysis of evolutionary systems

2001 European Control Conference (ECC), 2001
Kuipers' QSIM algorithm for tracking the monotonicity properties of solutions to differential equations has been revisited by Dordan by placing it in a rigorous mathematical framework. The Dordan QSIM algorithm provides the transition laws from one qualitative cell to the others.

Mathematical analysis of evolutionary process

1995
This paper proposes an analytic framework for the analysis of evolutionary mechanisms at genetic coding level, attempting to provide more detailed description than population genetics. It gives an estimated sequence after T replications in an environment given the initial genetic sequence.

Runtime Analysis of Evolutionary Algorithms

Proceedings of the Companion Publication of the 2015 Annual Conference on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation, 2013
Evolutionary algorithm theory has studied the time complexity of evolutionary algorithms for more than 20 years. Different aspects of this rich and diverse research field were presented in four different advanced or specialized tutorials at last year's GECCO. This tutorial presents the foundations of this field.

Nursing image: an evolutionary concept analysis

Contemporary Nurse, 2012
A long-term challenge to the nursing profession is the concept of image. In this study, we used the Rodgers' evolutionary concept analysis approach to analyze the concept of nursing image (NI). The aim of this concept analysis was to clarify the attributes, antecedents, consequences, and implications associated with the concept.
