Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Stability analysis of supply chain in evolutionary game based on stability theory of nonlinear differential equation

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2020
Based on the stability theory of nonlinear differential equation, this paper analyzes the stability of the evolutionary game supply chain, and obtains the strategies that both sides should adopt in different situations.

On Forward Induction and Evolutionary and Strategic Stability [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Economic Theory, 2000
We analyze which normal form solution concepts capture the notion of forward induction, as defined by van Damme (JET, 1989) in the class of generic two player normal form games preceded by an outside option. We find that none of the known strategic stability concepts (including Mertens stable sets and hyperstable sets) captures this

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

pH‐mediated activation of the lysosomal arginine sensor SLC38A9

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Cells monitor nutrient levels via the lysosomal transporter SLC38A9 to activate the mechanistic target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1). This study reveals that SLC38A9 function is regulated by pH. We identified histidine 544 as a critical pH sensor that undergoes conformational changes to control amino acid efflux from lysosomes; therefore, it ...

Analysis and classification of fixed points of operators on a simplex

open access: yesҚарағанды университетінің хабаршысы. Математика сериясы
This paper investigates the dynamical behavior of Lotka–Volterra type operators defined on the four and five dimensional simplexes, focusing on their fixed points and structural representation through directed graphs (tournaments).

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Exploring the Evolutionary Traits of Post-Disaster Reconstruction Under the Background of Sustainable Development

open access: yesSystems
Sustainable development serves as a key gripper and critical juncture for disaster-stricken regions to achieve the goal of “building back better”, and post-disaster reconstruction (PDR) involves complex system engineering.

EQUILIBRIUM, EVOLUTIONARY STABILITY AND GRADIENT DYNAMICS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Game Theory Review, 2002
Considered here are equilibria, notably those that solve noncooperative games. Focus is on connections between evolutionary stability, concavity and monotonicity. It is shown that evolutionary stable points are local attractors under gradient dynamics. Such dynamics, while reflecting search for individual improvement, can incorporate myopia, imperfect
