Survival of fertilized ova from ewe lambs and adult ewes in the uteri of ewe lambs

The cause of fertility differences between ewe lambs and adult ewes following natural oestrus were studied in Romneys. Insemination was determined by anterior vaginal swabbing. Fertilized ewe-lamb ova were returned to donor animals along with one matched fertilized adult ewe ovum and lambings were recorded.
