Increasing the Reuse Potential of High‐Strength Steels by Extending the Fatigue Life through Surface Treatments

Surface reconditioning through mechanical and electrochemical polishing is shown to extend the fatigue life of predamaged 42CrMo4 steel by over 12 times. While identity research has given sustained attention to marginality, intersectionality, and the effects of power on identity, the formal interactional dynamics through which identities are constituted remain limited. Nonthermal plasma approaches for combating implant‐associated infections: A compendious review

Implant‐associated infections pose serious clinical challenges. Non‐thermal plasma (NTP) modifications overcome this bottleneck in distinct ways relative to traditional sterilization methods. Gas‐phase plasmas generate highly energetic species, UV radiation and reactive oxygen/nitrogen species (RONS), which alter the implant surface properties.
