Correlated Lloyd model: Exact solution [PDF]

open access: yesTheoretical and Mathematical Physics, 2014
Exactly solvable model of disordered system representing the generalized Lloyd model with correlated random potential is described. It is shown, that for the model under consideration, the averaged Green's function does not depend on random potential correlation radius and, similarly to the classical Lloyd model, has the form of Green's function of a ...

Unfrustrating the t-J Model: Exact d-wave BCS Superconductivity in the t'-J_z-V Model

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2019
The t-J model is believed to be a minimal model that may be capable of describing the low-energy physics of the cuprate superconductors. However, although the t-J model is simple in appearance, obtaining a detailed understanding of its phase diagram has ...

Exact Sequences and Closed Model Categories [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Categorical Structures, 2009
For every closed model category with zero object, Quillen gave the construction of Eckman-Hilton and Puppe sequences. In this paper, we remove the hypothesis of the existence of zero object and construct (using the category over the initial object or the category under the final object) these sequences for unpointed model categories.

Exact form-factor results for the longitudinal structure factor of the massless XXZ model in zero field [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
We consider the XXZ quantum spin chain in its massless, disordered regime at zero field. We derive an exact expression for the two-spinon form-factor of Sz = 1/2σz by taking a limit of the massive XYZ form-factors found by Lashkevich and by Lukyanov and ...

Solid Pseudopapillary Neoplasm of the Pancreas in Children and Adolescents: Expert Recommendations

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm of the pancreas (SPN) is a rare low‐grade malignant exocrine pancreatic tumor, mostly discovered during the second decade of life in females, with a very good prognosis, provided microscopically complete surgical excision is achieved.

Early Body Mass Index z‐Score Change and Resolution of Severe Malnutrition in Children With Sickle Cell Anemia in a Low‐Income Setting: A Prospective Single‐Arm Extension Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with sickle cell anemia (SCA) in low‐income settings are at risk of severe malnutrition, but optimal nutritional management has not been established. We evaluated an intensified ready‐to‐use therapeutic food (RUTF) regimen in children with persistent severe malnutrition after initial treatment and assessed whether early ...

Central Nervous System Tumors Among Infants in Canada: A Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) tumors in infants are rare, pose unique clinical challenges, and lack large‐scale evidence‐based data to guide management. This study seeks to describe CNS tumors in Canadian infants and to compare their outcomes with those of older children.

Exact solution of the Susceptible–Infectious–Recovered–Deceased (SIRD) epidemic model

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2022
Exact solution of the Susceptible-Infectious-Recovered-Deceased (SIRD) epidemic model is established, and various properties of solution are derived directly from the exact solution.

Quantum Orders in an Exact Soluble Model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2003
We find all the exact eigenstates and eigenvalues of a spin-1/2 model on square lattice: $H=16g \sum_i S^y_i S^x_{i+x} S^y_{i+x+y} S^x_{i+y}$. We show that the ground states for $g<0$ and $g>0$ have different quantum orders described by Z2A and Z2B projective symmetry groups.

Class of exact solutions of the Faddeev model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2004
A class of exact solutions of the Faddeev model, that is, the modified SO(3) nonlinear sigma model with the Skyrme term, is obtained in the four dimensional Minkowskian spacetime. The solutions are interpreted as the isothermal coordinates of a Riemannian surface. One special solution of the static vortex type is investigated numerically.
