Exact Solutions for Lifting Surfaces

A new approach is used to show what kind of potentials we can use to obtain a series of exact solutions in closed forms of the Schrödinger equation for bound states. In particular, the well known Coulombic and oscillator solutions and others are reproduced as special cases.

The congruential method of obtaining the exact solution of a system of linear equations with integral coefficients is critically reviewed. A new and efficient test for checking that a sequence of residue solutions determines the correct integer solution of the system of equations is presented.

Given a boolean 2CNF formula F, the MAX2SAT problem is that of finding the maximum number of clauses satisfiable simultaneously. In the corresponding decision version, we are given an additional parameter k and the question is whether we can simultaneously satisfy at least k clauses. This problem is NP-complete.

Some Exact Solutions of Magnetohydrodynamics

Four examples of the exact solutions of two-dimensional magnetohydrodynamics of incompressible inviscid fluid are given. Two are valid for infinite conductivity and the other two for finite conductivity.
