Integrable maps in 4D and modified Volterra lattices [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
In recent work, we presented the construction of a family of difference equations associated with the Stieltjes continued fraction expansion of a certain function on a hyperelliptic curve of genus $g$. As well as proving that each such discrete system is

Spectrum of the reflection operators in different integrable structures

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
The reflection operators are the simplest examples of the non-local integrals of motion, which appear in many interesting problems in integrable CFT. For the so- called Fateev, quantum AKNS, paperclip and KdV integrable structures, they are built from ...

Extracellular matrix remodeling and immune reprogramming drive residual tumor progression of liver cancer after incomplete microwave ablation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Incomplete microwave ablation (iMWA) of liver cancer triggers a biphasic progression in residual tumors. At Day 3, the microenvironment is characterized by acute inflammatory responses and extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling. By Day 14, a profound shift occurs toward oncogenic signal transduction and immunosuppression, marked by macrophage ...

Singularities and growth of higher order discrete equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
We study the link between the degree growth of integrable birational mappings of order higher than two and their singularity structures. The higher order mappings we use in this study are all obtained by coupling mappings that are integrable through ...

On the lump interaction phenomena to the conformable fractional (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2023
This article pays attention to the interaction of waves for the (2+1)-dimensional KdV equation arising in the diversity of fields with the properties of conformable fractional derivatives. The KdV equation is notably significant as a prototypical example

Bethe ansatz solutions and hidden $sl(2)$ algebraic structure for a class of quasi-exactly solvable systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
The construction of analytic solutions for quasi-exactly solvable systems is an interesting problem. We revisit a class of models for which the odd solutions were largely missed previously in the literature: the anharmonic oscillator, the singular ...

SPHINX31 acts as a SRPK1 inhibitor targeting the ATR/DNA‐PKcs/CHK1 replicative checkpoint to inhibit cell growth in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The kinase SRPK1 directly interacts with the protein TOPBP1 and regulates the pre‐mRNA splicing of WIZ thereby contributing to the activation of the ATR/CHK1 replicative checkpoint in response to replicative stress. This allows cancer cells' genomic stability and survival.

B\"{a}cklund transformations as integrable discretization. The geometric approach [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
We present interpretation of known results in the theory of discrete asymptotic and discrete conjugate nets from the "discretization by B\"{a}cklund transformations" point of view.

Mutant p53R273H disrupts PDPK1 homodimerization and contributes to PDPK1 activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
How mutant p53R273H drives AKT signaling is unclear. We show that p53R273H, but not wild‐type, directly binds PDPK1 via a mutation‐dependent conformational change. This interaction disrupts inhibitory PDPK1 homodimerization and enhances AKT phosphorylation.

Algebraic entropy for systems of quad equations [PDF]

open access: yesOpen Communications in Nonlinear Mathematical Physics
In this work I discuss briefly the calculation of the algebraic entropy for systems of quad equations. In particular, I observe that since systems of multilinear equations can have algebraic solution, in some cases one might need to restrict the ...
