New Insights Into Immunomodulatory Strategies for Drug Hypersensitivity Reactions: An EAACI Task Force Report

open access: yesClinical and Translational Allergy, Volume 16, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Drug hypersensitivity reactions (DHRs) are a global health concern and remain challenging to investigate owing to the heterogeneity of endotypes and phenotypes, as well as the lack of standardized biomarkers. Until recently, strict drug avoidance was the only management strategy for severe DHRs.

Investigation of the Prevalence of the HLA‐B*15:02 Allele in the Asian Populations: A Comprehensive Analysis Through Using AFND

open access: yesHealth Science Reports, Volume 9, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Background and Aims The HLA‐B*15:02 allele is related to a high risk of severe cutaneous adverse drug reactions (SCARs) in patients taking certain antiepileptic drugs. However, its prevalence in the Asian population and the number of drugs linked to SCARs due to the carriage of this variant are relatively underexplored.

Development of Betalactam‐Predictor: A Clinical Decision Tool for Delabeling Low‐Risk Betalactam Allergy Patients. Initial Validation in Penicillin Allergy

open access: yesAllergy, Volume 81, Issue 8, Page 2885-2897, August 2026.
BL‐Predictor has emerged as a new tool for delabeling penicillin allergy. External validation has shown a specificity of 93% for detecting low‐risk patients. This score could potentially reduce diagnostic costs and the negative consequences associated with incorrect antibiotic allergy labels.

Quality and Consistency of Penicillin Allergy Delabelling Guidelines: A Systematic Review

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, Volume 56, Issue 8, Page 867-880, August 2026.
Eighteen penicillin allergy delabelling guidelines from 12 countries were reviewed.
