Toughness of Confined Auxetic Foams
Auxetic (negative Poisson's ratio) materials offer benefits such as impact mitigation, thermal insulation, vibration damping, and reduced shear strain, although their fracture mechanics are largely unexplored. This study investigates damage initiation and propagation in confined re‐entrant auxetic foams from polyurethane via experimental ...

Laser remelting of a CrMnFeCoNi high‐entropy alloy reveals that optimal chemical homogenization occurs between 30 and 40 J·mm−2. Within this range, elemental segregation is reduced by over 30% compared to the as‐cast state. The study establishes this window as a fast, effective alternative to prolonged annealing for achieving uniform elemental ...

Instrumenting self-modifying code
Adding small code snippets at key points to existing code fragments is called instrumentation. It is an established technique to debug certain otherwise hard to solve faults, such as memory management issues and data races.

Microcellular Poly (Ethylene‐Co‐Vinyl Acetate)/Lignin Nanocomposites for Soft Ferroelectrets
Lignin valorization for advanced porous polymer nanocomposites development and an upscaling route for continuous manufacturing of soft ferroelectrets for energy harvesting are studied. This work examines the role of lignin and carbon nanotubes (CNT) in modifying the mechanical, dielectric, and ferroelectret properties of poly (ethylene‐co‐vinyl acetate)

A highly stable, low‐temperature phosphate glass is developed for multimaterial additive manufacturing of multifunctional microfluidics. Glass, metal conductors, and sacrificial polymer are coprinted, enabling monolithic fabrication. The sacrificial paste forms precise channels and decomposes during sintering.

Program slicing with exception handling
[EN] Program slicing is a technique for program analysis and transformation with many different applications such as program debugging, program specialization, and parallelization. The system dependence graph (SDG) is the most commonly used data structure for program slicing. In this paper, we show that the presence of exception-handling constructs can
