This study investigated how PYCR1 inhibition in bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) indirectly affects multiple myeloma (MM) cell metabolism and viability. Culturing MM cells in conditioned medium from PYCR1‐silenced BMSCs impaired oxidative phosphorylation and increased sensitivity to bortezomib.

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.

Solving non-Hermitian physics for optical manipulation on a quantum computer
Intense laser light, with its ability to trap small particles, is providing us unprecedented access to the microscopic world. Nevertheless, owing to its open nature, optical force is nonconservative and can only be described by a non-Hermitian theory ...

VERSAILLES, COMPIÈGNE ET FONTAINEBLEAU. À LA REDÉCOUVERTE D’UN PATRIMOINE THÉÂTRAL LONGTEMPS NÉGLIGÉ
In France today, the only court theatres still in existence are at the royal palaces of Versailles, Compiègne and Fontainebleau. As heritage, they were neglected for a long time but are today the object of renewed interest. The stage sets which have been

Exceptional sets and Hilbert–Schmidt composition operators
Let \(D\) be the unit disk in the complex plane and \(\varphi\) be an analytic map from \(D\) to itself. Let \(E_\varphi = \{ e^{i\theta} \in \partial D : | \varphi(e^{i\theta})| = 1 \} \) be the exceptional set and the composition operator \(C_\varphi : {\mathcal{H}}(D) \rightarrow {\mathcal{H}}(D)\) be defined as \(C_\varphi f = f \circ \varphi ...

This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

Aczel-Alsina t-norm and t-conorm are intrinsically flexible and endow Aczel-Alsina aggregation operators with greater versatility and robustness in the aggregation process than operators rooted in other t-norms and t-conorm families. Moreover, the linear

Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.

Local cohomology along exceptional sets
Let \({\mathcal F}\) be a locally free coherent sheaf of a reduced complex space of dimension n. Let E be a closed analytic subset. To compute local cohomology along E one has natural homomorphisms \(H^ i_ E(X;{\mathcal F})\to \lim_{\to}Ext^ i_{{\mathcal O}_ X}({\mathcal O}_ X/{\mathcal J}^ m,{\mathcal F})\) and duality homomorphisms \(H^ i_ E(X ...
