Globalization and Governance in Cyberspace: Mapping the Processes of Emergent Regime Formation in Global Information and Communications Policy [PDF]
This paper develops a theoretical perspective on globalization and the Information Society and combines it with a critical usage of international regime theory as a heuristic for understanding the current historical period of transition from an international telecommunicaitons regime (Cowhey, 1990; 1994) to a new and complex regime aimed at providing ...

Real exchange rate fluctuations, endogenous tradability and exchange rate regime [PDF]
This paper, empirically and theoretically, studies variance decomposition of real exchange rate. We find that deviations from the law of one price for traded goods drive most real exchange rates.

A novel technique for fabricating monolithic functionally graded NiTi shape memory alloy (SMA) laminated hybrid composite has been developed. An excellent metallurgical bonding can be established between two compositionally different NiTi SMAs through spark plasma sintering joining/diffusion bonding followed by hot roll bonding.

Exogenous Shocks and Exchange Rate Regimes
AbstractUsing a dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) model with nominal price rigidity and imperfect competition, we examine the impact of terms‐of‐trade and foreign interest rate shocks on some key macroeconomic variables for a small open economy under different exchange rate regimes.

2D Vermiculite Nanolaminated Membranes for Efficient Organic Solvent Nanofiltration
Intercalating multivalent cations into 2D vermiculite nanolaminates significantly improves the structural stability and sieving capabilities of membranes in both aqueous and organic media, rendering them effective for organic solvent nanofiltration. Abstract Membrane separation technology has found widespread application in molecular sieving and water ...
