External Stability, Real Exchange Rate Adjustment and the Exchange Rate Regime in Emerging-Market Economies [PDF]
In emerging-market economies, real exchange rate adjustment is critical for maintaining a sustainable current account position and thereby for helping to reduce macroeconomic and financial instability.

Ultralight 3D nanofibrous aerogels embedded with metal‐organic frameworks effectively capture and neutralize toxic gases and organophosphonates. Incorporating mesoporous UiO‐66‐NH2 and HKUST‐1 into PAN/PVP fibers enables high MOF loading while maintaining mechanical strength and structural stability.

Exchange Rates Dynamics in a Target Zone – A Heterogeneous Expectations Approach [PDF]
The target zone model of Krugman (1991) has failed empirically. In this paper, we develop a model of the exchange rate with heterogeneous agents in a free floating and a target zone regime.

Dual‐phase MoC/Mo2C/CoNC nanoframes are synthesized via a MOF‐on‐MOF strategy, demonstrating a large salt adsorption capacity, a low energy consumption, and an excellent cycling stability. In situ/ex situ characterizations and DFT calculations reveal that the MoC/Mo2C dual phase transition facilitates Na+ adsorption/desorption, while interface‐induced ...

Do we really know that flexible exchange rates facilitate current account adjustment? Some new empirical evidence for CEE countries [PDF]
This paper examines the relationship between the exchange rate regime and the pace of current account adjustment. The panel data set we refer to includes 11 catching-up countries from central, eastern and south-eastern Europe between 1994 and 2007.

Operando hard X‐ray absorption spectroscopy is applied to track the dynamic and interactive metal oxidation changes in iron group bimetallic hydroxides under different chemical and electrochemical conditions. It shows that Co and Fe oxidation are relatively equal and synchronized in CoFeOxHy.
