Exergy and sustainability

International Journal of Exergy, 2012
A thorough qualitative investigation of the relation between exergy losses and the environmental aspect of sustainability has been conducted. It is concluded that almost all environmental effects can be taken into account by studying the waste of feedstocks and energy, and the emission and dispersion of pollutants.

Exergy and ecology

Ecological Modelling, 1992
The cells that form the basic units of ecosystems are the result of a long evolutionary process from organic soup to protobiont, to protocells and further on to ever more complex cells with very complicated anabolic (synthesizing) and information development processes.

On the exergy balance equation and the exergy destruction

Energy, 2016
Abstract The exergy balance equation can be written expressing the useful work for a general process as depending on the useful work for the corresponding reversible process and the exergy destruction term. However, this can be made only if the terms (other than the exergy destruction term) on the exergy balance equation for the general process lead ...
