Exergy destruction calculation and analysis for a Coal drying system
Abstract A coal drying system was modelled and the calculation methodology was developed to calculate the system. Then the system performance was obtained and the exergy destruction and loss in the system is 70.5 kW. The reasons of exergy destruction were tried to be explained from the perspective of energy grade.

Comparison of PSA and amine‐based absorption for syngas purification shows that PSA offers lower energy intensity, global warming potential, and minimum selling price, making it a more sustainable option. However, absorption achieves higher syngas purity. A GREENSCOPE‐based multi‐criteria assessment guides optimal process selection.

Exergy Analysis of Fluidized Desiccant Cooling System
One of the main challenges in the design and implementation of fluidized desiccant cooling (FDC) systems is increasing their low COP (coefficient of performance). Exergy analysis is one of the tools especially suitable for improvement and optimization of

Advanced exergy analysis of an aircraft gas turbine engine: Splitting exergy destructions into parts
Abstract Advanced exergy analysis of an aircraft gas turbine engine is presented in this paper. In this framework, the main exergy parameters of the engine components are introduced while the exergy destruction rates within the engine components are split into endogenous/exogenous and avoidable/unavoidable parts.

Exergy analysis of a turbofan aircraft engine
An exergy analysis is reported for a General Electric turbofan engine (the CF6-80) using sea-level data. The effects on exergy efficiencies and exergy destructions are investigated of modifying the isentropic efficiencies of turbomachinery components ...

ABSTRACT Thermochemical gasification is one of the most efficient methods for producing solid waste synthesis gas. Therefore, to predict and analyze the process of gasification of municipal solid waste (MSW) in a downdraft fixed‐bed gasification reactor with a thermal capacity of 2.1 kW, a comprehensive numerical modeling approach based on Gibbs free ...
