THE USE OF GAS-DYNAMIC COOLING RECIRCULATION OF EXHAUST GASES OF MARINE DIESEL ENGINES
There are many ways and methods to reduce exhaust gases emissions on modern ships. One of the most effective ways to reduce NOx and SOx emissions is to use of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR technology).

ABSTRACT As global populations age, cancer is increasingly becoming a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults, particularly in low‐ and middle‐income countries (LMICs). Despite accounting for the majority of new cancer cases and deaths, older individuals remain underrepresented in cancer research, clinical guidelines, and health ...

Exhaust Gases Cleaning Technology for Vessels
The present investigation aims to propose results of development of an effective system for the purification of exhaust gases that are emitted to the environment by ship power plant from sulfur oxides (SOx) and solid particles. Numerical simulation of a combined scrubber with vortex plate based on the developed theoretical approach was performed ...

Duplex Stainless Steel Laser‐Surface Textured: Stability in Brine Solution
Controlled laser‐surface treatment (LST) of duplex DSS2205 steel is performed to increase its stability in brine solution under cyclic electrochemical assays. The superior protection with respect to flat and smooth panels is attributed to the presence of FeCr2O4 as the main protective oxide layer in the LST surface, after corrosion tests. The stability
