Portopulmonary hypertension practice patterns after liver transplantation
Abstract Portopulmonary hypertension (POPH) is a type of pulmonary arterial hypertension occurring exclusively in those with portal hypertensive liver disease. Liver transplantation (LT) can significantly improve outcomes. Current guidelines counsel against immediate adjustments to targeted therapy after LT and suggest routine echocardiography as ...

In this paper we establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions for nonlinear evolution equations on Banach space with locally monotone operators, which is a generalization of the classical result by J.L. Lions for monotone operators. In particular,

Constructing Soliton and Kink Solutions of PDE Models in Transport and Biology [PDF]
We present a review of our recent works directed towards discovery of a periodic, kink-like and soliton-like travelling wave solutions within the models of transport phenomena and the mathematical biology. Analytical description of these wave patterns is

A generalization of Szebehely's inverse problem of dynamics [PDF]
The so-called inverse problem of dynamics is about constructing a potential for a given family of curves. We observe that there is a more general way of posing the problem by making use of ideas of another inverse problem, namely the inverse problem of ...

Multi‐View Biomedical Foundation Models for Molecule‐Target and Property Prediction
Molecular foundation models can provide accurate predictions for a large set of downstream tasks. We develop MMELON, an approach that integrates pre‐trained graph, image, and text foundation models and validate our multi‐view model on over 120 tasks, including GPCR binding.

This perspective highlights how knowledge‐guided artificial intelligence can address key challenges in manufacturing inverse design, including high‐dimensional search spaces, limited data, and process constraints. It focused on three complementary pillars—expert‐guided problem definition, physics‐informed machine learning, and large language model ...

Young measures, superposition and transport
We discuss a space of Young measures in connection with some variational problems. We use it to present a proof of the Theorem of Tonelli on the existence of minimizing curves.

ABSTRACT The paper establishes an advanced computing algorithm to investigate the thermosolutal dynamics of an electrically conductive Brinkman‐type nanofluid that moves in a porous channel, and the fluid is acted on by an inclined magnetic field exerted externally.

Are physiological oscillations physiological?
Abstract figure legend Mechanisms and functions of physiological oscillations. Abstract Despite widespread and striking examples of physiological oscillations, their functional role is often unclear. Even glycolysis, the paradigm example of oscillatory biochemistry, has seen questions about its oscillatory function.

Generalized Calabi-Yau metric and Generalized Monge-Ampere equation
In the neighborhood of a regular point, generalized Kahler geometry admits a description in terms of a single real function, the generalized Kahler potential.
