Existence of positive solutions for semilinear elliptic systems with indefinite weight
This article concerns the existence of positive solutions of semilinear elliptic system $$displaylines{ -Delta u=lambda a(x)f(v),quadhbox{in }Omega,cr -Delta v=lambda b(x)g(u),quadhbox{in }Omega,cr u=0=v,quad hbox{on } partialOmega, }$$ where ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Neuroblastoma (NB) with central nervous system (CNS) metastases is rare at diagnosis, but occurs more often during relapse/progression. Patients with CNS metastases face a dismal prognosis, with no standardized curative treatment available.

We present a method to obtain concrete sufficient conditions which guarantee non-existence of solutions lying into a prescribed domain of six two- or three-point boundary value problems for second-order ordinary differential equations.

Existence results for a discrete fractional boundary value problem
In this study, we investigate the existence of at least one solution and the existence of an infinite number of solutions for a discrete fractional boundary value problem.

Pathogenic Germline PALB2 and RAD50 Variants in Patients With Relapsed Ewing Sarcoma
ABSTRACT Approximately 10% of patients with Ewing sarcoma (EwS) have pathogenic germline variants. Here, we report two cases: first, a novel germline pathogenic variant in partner and localizer of BRCA2 (PALB2) in a patient with a late EwS relapse. Its impact on homologous recombination is demonstrated, and breast cancer risk is discussed.

Existence and regularity of solutions to the Leray-alpha model with Navier slip boundary conditions
We establish the existence and regularity of a unique weak solution to turbulent flows in a bounded domain $\Omega\subset\mathbb R^3$ governed by the Leray-$\alpha$ model with Navier slip boundary condition for the velocity. Furthermore, we show that

ABSTRACT Background Despite their increased risk for functional impairment resulting from cancer and its treatments, few adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with a hematological malignancy receive the recommended or therapeutic dose of exercise per week during inpatient hospitalizations.

Solution to second-order differential equations with discontinuous right-hand side
We consider an ordinary differential equation of second order with discontinuous nonlinearity relative to the phase variable. Phase trajectories are studied.

A fractional-operator approach for unraveling rabies disease dynamics in animal population
Rabies remains a significant public health threat. It necessitates robust mathematical frameworks to understand its transmission dynamics and control strategies. In this work.
