Existence of solutions to singular fourth-order elliptic equations
Using a method developed by Ambrosetti et al [1,2] we prove the existence of weak non trivial solutions to fourth-order elliptic equations with singularities and with critical Sobolev ...

Mechanisms of parasite‐mediated disruption of brain vessels
Parasites can affect the blood vessels of the brain, often causing serious neurological problems. This review explains how different parasites interact with and disrupt these vessels, what this means for brain health, and why these processes matter. Understanding these mechanisms may help us develop better ways to prevent or treat brain infections in ...

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Cryptochrome and PAS/LOV proteins play intricate roles in circadian clocks where they act as both sensors and mediators of protein–protein interactions. Their ubiquitous presence in signaling networks has positioned them as targets for small‐molecule therapeutics. This review provides a structural introduction to these protein families.

Existence of Nonoscillatory Solutions of First-Order Neutral Differential Equations
This paper contains some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive solutions which are bounded below and above by positive functions for the first-order nonlinear neutral differential equations. These equations can also support the existence of

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Existence and Uniqueness of Second-Order Impulsive Delay Differential Systems
In this paper, we study the existence and uniqueness of second-order impulsive delay differential systems. Firstly, we define cosine-type and sine-type delay matrix functions, which are used to derive the solutions of the impulsive delay differential ...

Existence Results for a Fully Fourth-Order Boundary Value Problem
We discuss the existence of solution for the fully fourth-order boundary value problem u(4)=f(t,u,u′,u′′,u′′′), 0≤t≤1, u(0)=u(1)=u′′(0)=u′′(1)=0. A growth condition on f guaranteeing the existence of solution is presented.
