The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Existence of periodic solutions for second-order neutral differential equations
By means of variational structure and critical point theory, we study the existence of periodic solutions for a second-order neutral differential equation $$displaylines{ (p(t) x' (t - au ))' + f(t, x(t), x(t-au ), x(t-2au) ) = g(t),cr x(0) = x(2kau), x'

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Existence of solutions for some third-order boundary-value problems
In this paper concerns the third-order boundary-value problem $$displaylines{ u'''(t)+ f(t, u(t),u'(t), u''(t))=0, quad 0 < t < 1, cr r_1 u(0) - r_2 u' (0)= r_3 u(1) + r_4 u'(1)= u''(0)=0. }$$ By placing certain restrictions on the nonlinear term f,

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Existence of Solutions for Generalized Nonlinear Fourth-Order Differential Equations
In this article, we studied the existence of solutions for a more general form of nonlinear fourth-order differential equations by using a new generalization of the Arzelá–Ascoli theorem and Schauder fixed theorem under easier and general conditions ...

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Existence results for the higher-order Q-curvature equation
We obtain existence results for the $Q$-curvature equation of order $2k$ on a closed Riemannian manifold of dimension $n\ge 2k+1$, where $k\ge1$ is an integer. We obtain these results under the assumptions that the Yamabe invariant of order $2k$ is positive and the Green's function of the corresponding operator is positive, which are satisfied for ...
