Overcoming the Catalytic Bucket Effect in Pt‐based High‐Entropy Nanocages Through Interface Defect and Strain Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
PtPdNiCuMnAu HENCs exhibit a remarkable half‐wave potential (E1/2) of 0.925 V vs. RHE. The catalyst displays exceptional electrochemical stability, with only a 4 mV negative shift in E1/2 and a mere 5.6% loss in MA after 10, 000 accelerated durability test cycles.

Development of low mass exothermic insulating materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Eksotermno-izolacijski materiali se uporabljajo kot pomožni material v metalurški industriji. Sestavljeni so iz eksotermne in izolacijske komponente. Prva reagira eksotermno, druga pa deluje izolacijsko.

Investigation of temperature gradient effects and effective thermal inertia during adiabatic decomposition of substances with varying exothermic characteristics

open access: yesCase Studies in Thermal Engineering
To further study adiabatic parameters distortion, the adiabatic decomposition of 2,4-DNT, 20%DTBP, and 45%Glucose was systematically analyzed using thermal analysis calorimetry and numerical simulation methods.

Bound Water as a Reinforcing Element for Ultra‐Strong Polyacrylamide

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Rather than acting as a conventional plasticizer, bound water serves as a reinforcing element in polyacrylamide by constructing strong PAM–water–PAM hydrogen‐bond networks. This water‐mediated architecture delivers ultra‐high mechanical strength and exceptional flame resistance, redefining the role of water in polymer reinforcement.

Self‐Assembly of Antigenic Peptide Nanofibrils Templates the Growth of Silica Nanoparticles for Nanovaccines

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Antigenic peptides Aβ42 and E7 self‐assemble into nanofibrils; APTES and TEOS induce SiO2 NP formation on these fibrils to form SiO2@fibril nanovaccines, which activate BMDCs in vitro. In vivo, SiO2@Aβ42 fibril nanovaccines alleviate AD symptoms and clear Aβ42 plaques in APP/PS1 mice, and SiO2@E7 fibril nanovaccines inhibit tumor growth and promote ...

A Sustainable Bio‐Based Epoxy Thermoset as a High‐Performance Alternative to BPA‐Based Resins

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A rigid–flexible bio‐based epoxy network integrates soybean oil, lignin, and maleic anhydride to overcome the strength–toughness–sustainability trade‐off of conventional BPA epoxy. The thermoset delivers excellent performance as both a structural adhesive and a matrix for glass‐fabric composites, while enabling pH‐responsive degradation, environmental ...

Programming Structural Symmetry and Emission in Low‐Dimensional Hybrid Perovskites via Time and Temperature

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We demonstrate programmable structural symmetry and emission in benzylammonium‐based low‐dimensional hybrid perovskites. Continuous shaking transforms orthorhombic platelets into a lower‐symmetry monoclinic phase with broadband emission, whereas thermal activation drives the reverse pathways toward a higher‐symmetry configuration resembling the ...
