We briefly review the formation of pion-mediated heavy-light exotic molecules with both charm and bottom, under the general structures of chiral and heavy quark symmetries. The charm isosinglet exotic molecules with [Formula: see text] binds, which we identify as the reported neutral [Formula: see text]. The bottom isotriplet exotic with [Formula: see

Exotic Lifshitz transitions in topological materials [PDF]
Topological Lifshitz transitions involve many types of topological structures in momentum and frequency–momentum spaces, such as Fermi surfaces, Dirac lines, Dirac and Weyl points, etc., each of which has its own stability-supporting topological ...

Electron–Matter Interactions During Electron Beam Nanopatterning
This article reviews the electron–matter interactions important to nanopatterning with electron beam lithography (EBL). Electron–matter interactions, including secondary electron generation routes, polymer radiolysis, and electron beam induced charging, are discussed.

Constraining Exotic Interactions [PDF]
AbstractBeyond‐the‐standard‐model interactions mediated by an exchange of virtual “new” bosons result in a finite set of possible effective interaction potentials between standard‐model particles such as electrons and nucleons. The classification of such potentials is discussed and recent experiments searching for such exotic interactions at spatial ...

ExNOTic: Should We Be Keeping Exotic Pets?
There has been a recent trend towards keeping non-traditional companion animals, also known as exotic pets. These pets include parrots, reptiles, amphibians and rabbits, as well as small species of rodent such as degus and guinea pigs.

AgCrP2S6 reveals a momentum‐indirect band edge (≈1.35 eV) and chain‐locked linear dichroism: the first direct transitions emerge at 1.6–1.8 eV for E||a. Resonant Raman and photoemission corroborate this assignment. In ACPS/graphene heterostructures, photocurrent turns on above ≈1.5 eV and follows the same polarization selection rules (anisotropy ≈0.53),

This work introduces an in situ precipitation strategy for the hydrogel‐based vat photopolymerization of architected ceramics and metals with reduced shrinkages and improved densities. Repeated infusion‐precipitation significantly increases metal loading within the hydrogels, which improves part quality after thermal conversion.

Composting As an Alternative Management Strategy for Wild Taro Waste
Wild taro (Colocasia esculenta) is identified as an invasive species in freshwater regions throughout the southeastern United States as well as Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and India, and thrives in freshwater swamps, streambanks, and riparian areas with rocky ...

Information Could Reduce Consumer Demand for Exotic Pets
The global wildlife trade is a growing threat to biodiversity, species conservation and animal welfare. A major driver is consumer demand for exotic pets, and there have been calls for information campaigns to combat this.
