Self-compacting lightweight concrete produced with expanded clay aggregate
Construction and Building Materials, 2012Abstract The objective of this paper is to characterize self-compacting concretes produced with lightweight aggregates (SCLC) available in the Iberian Peninsula. The influence of different compositions on the self-compactability of SCLC is analyzed and some limits are suggested for their formulation.

Polyethylene Glycol-600/expanded clay aggregate with Alccofine1203 in concrete
Materials Today: Proceedings, 2021Abstract The present work focuses on improving the thermal and mechanical properties of concrete using polyethylene Glycol-600/Expanded Clay Aggregate (ECA) with Alccofine1203. Immersion method was adopted with two different standards; ECA immersed at room temperature and higher temperatures (30 °C, 40 °C & 50 °C) for 8 h.

Abstract In this paper the main mechanical properties of concrete produced with recycled aggregates obtained from crushing both structural and non-structural lightweight concrete are characterized. Various concrete mixes with replacement ratios of 20%, 50% and 100% of two types of coarse lightweight aggregates (LWA) by recycled lightweight concrete ...

Long-term behaviour of concrete produced with recycled lightweight expanded clay aggregate concrete
Construction and Building Materials, 2014Abstract In this paper some of the main long-term properties of concrete produced with recycled aggregates obtained from crushing both structural and non-structural lightweight concrete (LWC) are analysed. The properties studied are drying shrinkage, capillary and immersion absorption, and carbonation and chloride penetration resistance.

INFLUENCE OF EXPANDED CLAY WASTE ON CONCRETE PROPERTIES
Abstract The chemical composition of expanded clay, its physicochemical properties and granulometric composition were studied. The effect of expanded clay dust additive – waste from expanded clay production (Azerbaijan) on the compressive and flexural strength of concrete was investigated.Cabbarova N., Memmedova R., Gurbanova A.
