New heat-expanded minerals of high water-holding capacity—good aids in plant propagation
Recently two relatively inert mineral substances have been tested which appear to have numerous uses in plant growing, especially in operations connected with plant propagation. These are heat-expanded vermiculite and perlite.

Effect of expanded perlite on the properties of 3DCP mixtures
Reducing energy consumption for continuous heating and cooling of buildings is currently one of the biggest sustainability challenges. This happens due to the use of materials with low insulation indexes and high thermal losses. As an alternative to minimize this problem, the use of porous aggregates in con-crete dosage stands out.
