Shear strength and modulus of elasticity of expanded polystyrene (EPS)
2010Lietuviška santrauka. Polistireninis putplastis (EPS) daugiasluoksnėse pastatų atitvarose gali būti veikiamas šlyties įtempių. Kadangi EPS užtikrina visos konstrukcijos stabilumą, tai būtina tiksliai įvertinti šlyties įtempių poveikį termoizoliaciniam konstrukciniam polistireninio putplasčio sluoksniui.

Laboratory study of expanded polystyrene (EPS) geofoam used with expansive soils
Geotextiles and Geomembranes, 2008Abstract The reduction of transmitted lateral swelling pressures on retaining structures constructed in expansive soils is investigated. Swelling pressures will develop if the soil is not allowed to swell freely. The magnitude of swelling pressure depends on the degree of expansion permitted.

Assessment of strength under compression of expanded polystyrene (EPS) slabs
2016The data obtained in testing expanded polystyrene (EPS) slabs subjected to short-term compression are discussed. The results demonstrated that the compressive strength of the slabs should be determined according to critical stress taking into account the type of deformations shown in the stress-strain diagram.
