Abstract The stress (σ10%, σcr) and strain (ɛcr, E) characteristics of expanded polystyrene (EPS) boards made from EPS 100, EPS 150 and EPS 200 under short-term compression are presented. The measured stress relaxation in these boards under constant compressive strain and isothermal conditions are discussed.
