B decays in the upsilon expansion [PDF]
Theoretical predictions for B decay rates are rewritten in terms of the Upsilon(1S) meson mass instead of the b quark mass, using a modified perturbation expansion. The theoretical consistency of this expansion is shown both at low and high orders.

Use of Legumes in Extrusion Cooking: A Review
The traditional perception that legumes would not be suitable for extrusion cooking is now completely outdated. In recent years, an increasing number of studies have been conducted to assess the behavior of various types of legume flours in extrusion ...

Effect of Edge Conditions on the Formability of Commercially Pure Titanium Sheet (Grade 2) at Room Temperature [PDF]
Titanium and its alloys are difficult to form, particularly at room temperature, due to their crystallographic structure and limited availability of slip systems.

Confined axisymmetric laminar jets with large expansion ratios [PDF]
This paper investigates the steady round laminar jet discharging into a coaxial duct when the jet Reynolds number, Rej, is large and the ratio of the jet radius to the duct radius, ε, is small. The analysis considers the distinguished double limit in which the Reynolds number Rea = Rejε for the final downstream flow is of order unity, when four ...

Corrections to Finite Size Scaling in Percolation [PDF]
A 1/L-expansion for percolation problems is proposed, where L is the lattice finite length. The square lattice with 27 different sizes L = 18, 22 ... 1594 is considered.

Approximation Algorithms for Hypergraph Small Set Expansion and Small Set Vertex Expansion [PDF]
The expansion of a hypergraph, a natural extension of the notion of expansion in graphs, is defined as the minimum over all cuts in the hypergraph of the ratio of the number of the hyperedges cut to the size of the smaller side of the cut.

FMR1 CGG expansions: Prevalence and sex ratios [PDF]
AbstractWe have estimated the prevalence of FMR1 premutation and gray zone CGG repeat expansions in a population‐based sample of 19,996 male and female adults in Wisconsin and compared the observed sex ratios of the prevalence of FMR1 CGG premutation and gray zone expansions to theoretical sex ratios.

Biases in Expansion Distances of Novae Arising from the Prolate Geometry of Nova Shells [PDF]
(abridged) Expansion distances (or expansion parallaxes) for classical novae are based on comparing a measurement of the shell expansion velocity, multiplied by the time since outburst, with some measure of the angular size of the shell.
