Lingyuanfructus: The First Fossil Angiosperm with Naked Seeds [PDF]
Unlike gymnosperms with naked ovules, angiosperms are defined and characterized by their enclosed ovules. According to plant evolution theories, angiosperms should be derived from their gymnospermous ancestors, which have naked ovules.

Memory, expectation formation and scheduling choices [PDF]
Limited memory capacity, retrieval constraints and anchoring are central to expectation formation processes. We develop a model of adaptive expectations where individuals are able to store only a finite number of past experiences of a stochastic state variable. Retrieval of these experiences is probabilistic and subject to error.

Expectation Formation of Exchange Rate: Experimental Evidence [PDF]
Acquiring information about expectations is difficult as individuals' beliefs are unobservable. Thus, how expectation forms and how to model expectation is an open question in economic modelling that has been addressed recently by experimental economics.

The Formation of Inflation Expectations [PDF]
TE~HE psychology of inflation is often cited as a major barrier in the war against inflation. One currently popular view contends that anti-inflation policies must not only attack the causes of inflation but also lower inflation expectations. In 1971, the Nixon Administration used this argument to justify the imposition of wage and price controls. More
