Efficient and Robust Standing Postures of Quadruped Robots
A calibrated static framework estimates load, optimizes torques, and adapts posture so quadruped robots stand efficiently and robustly under external payloads, achieving up to 50% lower torque demand. Inspired by the natural posture adjustments of animals under external loading, this article presents an optimization‐based framework for minimizing joint

This work reports a strategy of engineering charge‐assisted hydrogen bonds to tailor charge transfer channels in HOFs, significantly improving their performance in photocatalytic H2O2 production. ABSTRACT The production of H2O2 via artificial photosynthesis is often limited by inefficient charge‐carrier separation, causing significant charge ...

Redirecting Excited‐State Proton Transfer Through Supramolecular Polymerization in Nanoconfinement
Supramolecular confinement redirects the excited‐state proton transfer pathway of an amphoteric emitter. In water, the molecule undergoes ESPD, whereas co‐assembly with γ‐cyclodextrin forms nanotubes that template slip‐stacked emitter pairs and enable ESIMPT. Structural and photophysical characterization of the assemblies shows that the preorganization

Development and field evaluation of a synthetic mosquito lure that is more attractive than humans. [PDF]
BackgroundDisease transmitting mosquitoes locate humans and other blood hosts by identifying their characteristic odor profiles. Using their olfactory organs, the mosquitoes detect compounds present in human breath, sweat and skins, and use these as cues

High‐throughput quantum‐mechanical simulations reveal that amorphous carbon undergoes shear‐driven structural transformation into aromatic, graphene‐like interfaces. This mechanochemical process is governed by dopant chemistry: dopants with valency less than four promote the emergence of superlow‐friction amorphous graphene, whereas tetra‐valent ...

Effects of Environmental Conditions on the Movement Patterns ofAedes aegypti(Diptera: Culicidae) into and Out of Experimental Huts in Thailand [PDF]
Mark-release-recapture experiments with Aedes aegypti were performed using experimental huts equipped with entrance and exit traps to evaluate their movement patterns during a two-year period in Thailand. Results indicate no significant differences in the patterns of movement between the two years of observation.
