Specifics of Explosion-Venting Structures Providing Acceptable Indoor Explosion Loads
This article experimentally and theoretically demonstrates that the presence of blast-relief openings (windows) equipped with explosion-venting structures (EVS) allows explosive pressure to be reduced to a safe level (2–4 kPa).

Many industrial processes include a gas explosion hazard. If safety measures are not adequate to prevent a potentially explosive atmosphere or to avoid effective ignition sources in enclosures, at least the effects of an explosion can be limited e.g.

The use of a safety construction for explosion relief venting
The emergency venting of gaseous deflagration is widely used to prevent severe consequences of a confined explosion. Processes of vented deflagrations have been studied extensively and experimental data has been analysed.

Sizing of Explosion Pressure Relief using the Efflux Function
Determination of deflagration venting requirements in chemical/process plants is usually carried out using well established standards employing an empirically based formula.

Dynamic and evolution of the CH4 explosion with different vent tube diameters
CH4 explosion in a confined space will cause serious harm, and the vent tube can realize the directional venting of the explosion. Through the explosion experiment and numerical simulation of 8 vol% CH4, the impact of tube diameter on CH4 explosion ...

Study on Explosion Venting Characteristics of L-Type Venting Duct
The failure state of the natural gas pipelines in underground space may cause explosions, and an explosion flow field is affected by the structure of the venting duct. Based on FLACS software v9.0, the influence of the explosion vent and venting duct on temperature and pressure fields is studied.

Study on Vertical Propagation of Power Parameters in RC Frame Under Internal Explosion
The roof slab, as a critical component for partitioning the vertical space within RC frame structures, can effectively mitigate the propagation of shock waves and reduce damage levels in adjacent rooms. This study employed finite element (FE) modeling to
