Recent advances in stable isotope ratio analysis of common explosives

Chinese Journal of Chromatography, 2021
The ratio of stable isotopes of the elements in explosives differs depending on the raw materials obtained from different geographical sources or the production processes adopted. Hence, this ratio can be used as an important index for the comparison and trace of explosives.

Effect of Al/O ratio on underwater explosion energy characteristics of CL‐20‐based aluminized explosives

Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, 2023
AbstractTo study the underwater explosion energy characteristics of CL‐20‐based aluminized explosives with different Al/O ratio, underwater detonation parameters of explosives, including the shock wave peak pressure, the decay time, the bubble pulsation period, the shock wave energy and the bubble energy at 1 m, were measured by a series of underwater ...

Effect of explosive ratio on explosive welding quality of copper to aluminium

Ciência & Tecnologia dos Materiais, 2017
Abstract The goal of this research is to study the influence of the ratio of an explosive composed of 80% ANFO and 20% matrix on the quality of dissimilar explosive welds of Cu-DHP copper to aluminium alloy 5083-H11, in flat configuration. It is analysed the influence of four explosive ratios (1.4, 1.8, 2.3 and 2.6) on the microstructure and ...

Explosive hamstrings-to-quadriceps force ratio of males versus females

European Journal of Applied Physiology, 2014
Females are known to exhibit a greater risk of ACL injury compared to males. Lower explosive hamstrings-to-quadriceps (H/Q) force ratio in the first 150 ms from activation onset could reflect an impaired capacity for knee joint stabilisation and increased risk of ACL injury. However, the explosive H/Q force ratio has not been compared between the sexes.
