A Novel Perfused Full‐Thickness Human Skin Microphysiological System for Modeling Injury, Regeneration, Tumor Pathophysiology, and Therapeutics Development

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
What if human skin could remain fully alive and functional outside the body for weeks? A New Alternative Method (NAM) based on a vascularized full‐thickness skin microphysiological system achieves precisely this, preserving native vasculature, resident immunity, and metabolic activity for up to three weeks, while faithfully recapitulating radiation ...

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

Multifractal analysis of the convergence exponent in continued fractions

open access: yes, 2019
Let $x \in [0,1)$ be a real number and denote its continued fraction expansion by $[a_1(x),a_2(x), a_3(x),\cdots]$. The convergence exponent of these partial quotients is defined as \[ τ(x):= \inf\left\{s \geq 0: \sum_{n \geq 1} a^{-s}_n(x)

Exponent of convergence of solutions of LDE in the unit disc

open access: yesNovi Sad Journal of Mathematics, 2016
Summary: In this paper, we investigate the exponent of convergence of \(f^{(i)}-\varphi\) where \(f^{(0)}=f\not\equiv 0\) is a solution of linear differential equations with meromorphic coefficients in the unit disc and \(\varphi\) is a small function of \(f\). Our investigation is based on the behavior of the coefficients in a subset \(\Gamma\) of the

Growth and Zeros of Meromorphic Solutions to Second-Order Linear Differential Equations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2016
The main purpose of this article is to investigate the growth of meromorphic solutions to homogeneous and non-homogeneous second order linear differential equations f00+Af0+Bf = F, where A(z), B (z) and F (z) are meromorphic functions with finite order ...

Beyond Presumptions: Toward Mechanistic Clarity in Metal‐Free Carbon Catalysts for Electrochemical H2O2 Production via Data Science

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐free carbon catalysts enable the sustainable synthesis of hydrogen peroxide via two‐electron oxygen reduction; however, active site complexity continues to hinder reliable interpretation. This review critiques correlation‐based approaches and highlights the importance of orthogonal experimental designs, standardized catalyst passports ...

Lyapunov exponents of renewal equations: Numerical approximation and convergence analysis

open access: yesDiscrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems - B
We propose a numerical method for computing the Lyapunov exponents of renewal equations (delay equations of Volterra type), consisting first in applying a discrete QR technique to the associated evolution family suitably posed on a Hilbert state space and second in reducing to finite dimension each evolution operator in the obtained time sequence.

2D Co‐Mo‐Hydroxide‐Based Multifunctional Material for the Development of H2‐Based Clean Energy Technologies

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
2D α‐Co(OH)2 interleaved with Mo species displays an appealing dual functionality for the production and use of green hydrogen.Mo incorporation greatly benefits the electrochemical behaviour in Oxygen Evolution Reaction for H2 production, while the magnetocaloric response at liquid H2 temperature paves the way for alternative cryogenic refrigerants ...
