Robust exponential attractors for singularly perturbed phase-field type equations
In this article, we construct robust (i.e. lower and upper semicontinuous) exponential attractors for singularly perturbed phase-field type equations. Moreover, we obtain estimates for the symmetric distance between these exponential attractors and that ...

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Hyperbolic Relaxation of Reaction Diffusion Equations with Dynamic Boundary Conditions [PDF]
Under consideration is the hyperbolic relaxation of a semilinear reaction-diffusion equation on a bounded domain, subject to a dynamic boundary condition. We also consider the limit parabolic problem with the same dynamic boundary condition. Each problem

Dynamic Analysis and FPGA Implementation of a New, Simple 5D Memristive Hyperchaotic Sprott-C System
In this paper, we first present a simple seven-term 4D hyperchaotic system based on the classical Sprott-C 3D chaotic system. This novel system is inspired by the simple 4D hyperchaotic system based on Sprott-B proposed by A. T. Sheet (2022).

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

A Workflow to Accelerate Microstructure‐Sensitive Fatigue Life Predictions
This study introduces a workflow to accelerate predictions of microstructure‐sensitive fatigue life. Results from frameworks with varying levels of simplification are benchmarked against published reference results. The analysis reveals a trade‐off between accuracy and model complexity, offering researchers a practical guide for selecting the optimal ...

Cosmological dynamics of scalar fields with O(N) symmetry
In this paper, we study the cosmological dynamics of scalar fields with O(N) symmetry in general potentials. We compare the phase space of the dynamical systems of the quintessence and phantom and give the conditions for the existence of various ...

Mixing properties and statistical limit theorems for singular hyperbolic flows without a smooth stable foliation [PDF]
Over the last 10 years or so, advanced statistical properties, including exponential decay of correlations, have been established for certain classes of singular hyperbolic flows in three dimensions.
