Form-Invariance of the Non-Regular Exponential Family of Distributions
The weighted distributions are used when the sampling mechanism records observations according to a nonnegative weight function. Sometimes the form of the weighted distribution is the same as the original distribution except possibly for a change in the ...

A new family of ideals with the doubly exponential ideal membership property
Mayr and Meyer found ideals with the doubly exponential ideal membership property. In the analysis of the associated primes of these ideals (in math.AC/0209344), a new family of ideals arose. This new family is presented and analyzed in this paper. It is

The Geometry of Exponential Families
There are two important spaces connected with every multivariate exponential family, the natural parameter space and the expectation parameter space. We describe some geometric results relating the two. (In the simplest case, that of a normal translation family, the two spaces coincide and the geometry is the familiar Euclidean one.) Maximum likelihood

Strong Proton‐Phonon Coupling Drives Fast Ion Transport in Perovskites
Experimental and computational phonon analysis of ABO3‐type proton conductor BaSnO3 shows that substitution on the B‐site with yttrium forms an imaginary phonon mode which is instrumental for the function as proton conductor. This overcompensates the adverse proton trapping effect of the yttrium.
