Atomic Layer Deposition in Transistors and Monolithic 3D Integration
Transistors are fundamental building blocks of modern electronics. This review summarizes recent progress in atomic layer deposition (ALD) for the synthesis of two‐dimensional (2D) metal oxides and transition‐metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs), with particular emphasis on their enabling role in monolithic three‐dimensional (M3D) integration for next ...

T-Transmuted X Family of Distributions
Using the quadratic transmutation map (QRTM) approach of Shaw and Buckley (2007) and the T -X family method by Alzaatreh et al. (2013b), we have developed a new family of distributions called T -transmuted X family of distributions.

Aptamer‐Based Delivery Systems for VEGF and NGF Modulation in Ocular Therapies
Aptamer‐based delivery systems targeting NGF and VEGF hold significant potential for precise and sustained treatment of complex diseases affecting both the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. This review critically summarizes current strategies for NGF and VEGF delivery as well as VEGF sequestration, providing a clinical perspective on how ...

A new family of ideals with the doubly exponential ideal membership property
Mayr and Meyer found ideals with the doubly exponential ideal membership property. In the analysis of the associated primes of these ideals (in math.AC/0209344), a new family of ideals arose. This new family is presented and analyzed in this paper. It is

Horizon-Independent Optimal Prediction with Log-Loss in Exponential Families
We study online learning under logarithmic loss with regular parametric models. Hedayati and Bartlett (2012b) showed that a Bayesian prediction strategy with Jeffreys prior and sequential normalized maximum likelihood (SNML) coincide and are optimal if ...

A note on the minimum distance of quantum LDPC codes
We provide a new lower bound on the minimum distance of a family of quantum LDPC codes based on Cayley graphs proposed by MacKay, Mitchison and Shokrollahi.

A versatile approach is presented for fabricating smart multifunctional textiles by integrating thermo‐fluorescent carbon dot/polymer nanocomposite coatings with 3D‐printed interlocked architectures. The fabrics exhibit temperature‐responsive fluorescence, durable hydrophobicity, strong antibacterial and antioxidant activity, and enhanced UV protection.

On Cauchy-Stieltjes Kernel Families [PDF]
We explore properties of Cauchy-Stieltjes families that have no counterpart in exponential families. We relate the variance function of the iterated Cauchy-Stieltjes family to the pseudo-variance function of the initial Cauchy-Stieltjes family.

Clustering above Exponential Families with Tempered Exponential Measures
The link with exponential families has allowed $k$-means clustering to be generalized to a wide variety of data generating distributions in exponential families and clustering distortions among Bregman divergences. Getting the framework to work above exponential families is important to lift roadblocks like the lack of robustness of some population ...
