MOFs and COFs in Electronics: Bridging the Gap between Intrinsic Properties and Measured Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs) hold promise for advanced electronics. However, discrepancies in reported electrical conductivities highlight the importance of measurement methodologies. This review explores intrinsic charge transport mechanisms and extrinsic factors influencing performance, and critically ...

Mathematical Modeling of Population Growth Prediction Until 2041 in Iran [PDF]

open access: yesMajallah-i Dānishgāh-i ’Ulūm-i Pizishkī-i Īlām
Introduction:  It is unlikely that the population growth rate has stayed steady in recent years, given the present situation in Iran. There has been a slight rise in population growth over the past 60 years, according to birth, mortality, and census ...

Using In Situ TEM to Understand the Surfaces of Electrocatalysts at Reaction Conditions: Single‐Atoms to Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes recent advances in closed‐cell in situ TEM strategies for accurate determination of the activity and stability of single‐atom catalyst systems during operation. Operando conditions causing dynamic changes of SAC systems are highlighted and we explain why ensemble average‐based optical techniques may benefit from the technological

Blow-up solutions for a nonlinear wave equation with porous acoustic boundary condition

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2013
We study a nonlinear wave equation with porous acoustic boundary conditions in a bounded domain. We prove a finite time blow-up for certain solutions with positive initial energy.

Electrically Tunable On‐Chip Topological Photonics with Integrated Carbon Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates electrically tunable on‐chip topological THz devices by integrating 2D carbon nanotube (CNT) sheets with valley‐Hall photonic crystals, enabling broadband transmission modulation (71% modulation depth) and tunable narrowband filtering (0.54 GHz shift) through electrically induced thermal tuning. This advancement paves the way for

pH‐Tunable Material Properties of Glycine‐Rich Condensates from Tick Bioadhesive

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work studies the influence of pH on the phase separation behavior of a disordered glycine‐rich protein found in tick bioadhesive. The results show profound impact on the propensity of coacervation, condensate microstructure and viscosity, amphiphilicity of the peptides, and effective encapsulation of therapeutic molecules.
