Improper integral with exponential function

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2023
In this paper, we explore the improper integral with exponential function f = xx is approached to infinite series, and also prove the convergence of these series. An improper integral converges if the limit defining it exists. We use Maple code to calculate the infinite series.

Design of rapid exponential integral nonlinear tracking differentiator

International Journal of Control, 2021
In this paper, a tracking differentiator with novel acceleration function is proposed. An exponential integral function with adjustable slope near the equilibrium point is designed as an acceleration function to construct the tracking differentiator.

A new Rabotnov fractional‐exponential function‐based fractional derivative for diffusion equation under external force

Mathematical methods in the applied sciences, 2020
This work suggested a new generalized fractional derivative which is producing different kinds of singular and nonsingular fractional derivatives based on different types of kernels.

Global Exponential Stability of Delayed Neural Networks Based on a New Integral Inequality

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics: Systems, 2019
This paper focuses on the problem of exponential stability for a class of neural networks with time-varying delays. A more general inequality is established which extends the auxiliary function-based integral inequality.

Quasiconformal mappings and exponentially integrable functions

Studia Mathematica, 2011
We prove that a if-quasiconformal mapping f: R2 → R 2 which maps the unit disk D onto itself preserves the space EXP(D) of exponentially integrable functions over D, in the sense that u ∈ EXP(D) if and only if u o f-1 ∈ EXP(D). Moreover, if / is assumed to be conformal outside the unit disk and principal, we provide the estimate 1/1+K log K ≤ ||u o f-1|

Exponential estimates for oscillatory integrals with degenerate phase functions

Nonlinearity, 2008
In this paper we give precise asymptotic expansions and estimates of the remainder R(λ) for oscillatory integrals with non Morse phase functions, having degeneracies of any order k ≥ 2. We provide an algorithm for writing down explicitly the coefficients of the asymptotic expansion analysing precisely the combinatorial behaviour of the coefficients ...

On Some Exponential-integral Functionals of Bessel Processes

Mathematical Finance, 1993
This paper studies the moments of some exponential‐integral functionals of Bessel processes, which are of interest in some questions of mathematical finance, including the valuation of perpetuities and Asian options.

Function classes for double exponential integration formulas

Numerische Mathematik, 2008
Double exponential (DE) transformations \(\psi:\mathbb{R}\to I\) have been successfully applied by \textit{H. Takahasi} and \textit{M. Mori} [Publ. Res. Inst. Math. Sci., Kyoto Univ. 9, 721--741 (1974; Zbl 0293.65011)] for estimating the integral \(\int_I f(x)dx\) by means of the formula \[ \int_I f(x)dx=\int_{-\infty}^\infty f(\psi(t))\psi'(t)dt ...
