On asymptotic properties of solutions for differential equations of neutral type
The stability of systems of linear autonomous functional differential equations of neutral type is studied. The study is based on the well-known representation of the solution in the form of an integral operator, the kernel of which is the Cauchy ...

The numerical resolve nonlinear system of Volterra integral equation of the second kind (NLSVIEK2) has been considered. The exponential function is used as the base function of the collocation method to approximate the resolve of the problem.

In the work, we found integral representations for function spaces that are isometric to spaces of entire functions of exponential type, which are necessary for giving examples of equality of approximation characteristics in function spaces isometric to ...

A Class of Integral Operators that Fix Exponential Functions [PDF]
AbstractIn this paper we introduce a general class of integral operators that fix exponential functions, containing several recent modified operators of Gauss–Weierstrass, or Picard or moment type operators. Pointwise convergence theorems are studied, using a Korovkin-type theorem and a Voronovskaja-type formula is obtained.

Generalizations and applications of Young’s integral inequality by higher order derivatives
In the paper, the authors 1.generalize Young’s integral inequality via Taylor’s theorems in terms of higher order derivatives and their norms, and2.apply newly-established integral inequalities to estimate several concrete definite integrals, including a

Numerical integration using sums of exponential functions [PDF]
dy ( 1 ) q dx Suppose that the numerical values of q be known for the n + 1 discrete values of x given by x = xo + rh, where r runs through the integers from zero to n and h is some fixed increment. Let f(x) be some function of x chosen to coincide with q at these particular x-values.

Numerical computation of a generalized exponential integral function [PDF]
Series expansions and recurrence relations suitable for numerical computation are developed for the generalized exponential integral functions. Tables of these functions are presented in the microfiche section of this issue.

Dual Taylor Series, Spline Based Function and Integral Approximation and Applications
In this paper, function approximation is utilized to establish functional series approximations to integrals. The starting point is the definition of a dual Taylor series, which is a natural extension of a Taylor series, and spline based series ...

Exponential integrators in time-dependent density-functional calculations
The integrating factor and exponential time differencing methods are implemented and tested for solving the time-dependent Kohn--Sham equations. Popular time propagation methods used in physics, as well as other robust numerical approaches, are compared to these exponential integrator methods in order to judge the relative merit of the computational ...
