Semi-Exponential Operators [PDF]
In this paper we study approximation properties of exponential-type operators for functions from exponential weighted spaces. We focus on some modifications of these operators and we derive a new example of such operators.

Convergence of Special Sequences of Semi-Exponential Operators
Several papers, mainly written by J. de la Call and co-authors, contain modifications of classical sequences of positive linear operators to obtain new sequences converging to limits which are not necessarily the identity operator.

Some Remarks about Exponential and Semi-Exponential Operators [PDF]
In this paper, we study the approximation properties of some exponential and semi-exponential operators. We focus on modifications of these operators in King’s sense, examining the rate of convergence for basic and modified operators.

On Baskakov operators preserving the exponential function
In this paper, we are concerned about the King-type Baskakov operators defined by means of the preserving functions \(e_{0}\) and \(e^{2ax},\ a>0\) fixed.

Some new semi-exponential operators
In the theory of approximation, linear operators play an important role. The exponential-type operators were introduced four decades ago, since then no new exponential-type operator was introduced by researchers, although several generalizations of ...

Gamma operators reproducing exponential functions
The present paper deals with reconstruction of Gamma operators preserving some exponential functions and studies their approximation properties: uniform convergence, rate of convergence, asymptotic formula and saturation.

The present article deals with the approximation of certain exponential type operators defined by Ismail and May. We estimate the rate of convergence of these operators for functions of bounded variation.

The impact of the exponential Kernel’s bandwidth parameter on learning algorithms [PDF]
Exponential kernels have been used considerably in statistics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for tasks such as kernel principal component analysis (Kernel PCA), support vector machines(SVM), visualization, clustering, and pattern ...
