Interfacial Contact Engineering Enables Giant‐Performance Semiconductor Nanomembrane Optoelectronic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work investigates modifying interfacial contacts in realizing giant‐performance semiconductor nanomembrane optoelectronics. Strategies, including surface reaction and buffer layer work‐function modulation, are explored to boost the Schottky barrier. An emerging material of YbOx is utilized for near‐ideal Ohmic contact.

Making Photoresponsive Metal–Organic Frameworks an Effective Class of Heterogeneous Photocatalyst

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review summarizes photoresponsive MOFs for photocatalytic applications, focusing on their capacity to enhance light harvesting, charge transfer, and surface reactions. While existing studies provide foundational insights, emerging characterization techniques enable a deeper understanding of photoresponsive MOFs.

Connections between Hyers-Ulam stability and uniform exponential stability of discrete evolution families of bounded linear operators over Banach spaces

open access: yes, 2016
In this article, we prove that the ω-periodic discrete evolution family Γ:={ρ(n,k):n,k∈Z+,n≥k}$\Gamma:= \{\rho(n,k): n, k \in\mathbb{Z}_{+}, n\geq k\}$ of bounded linear operators is Hyers-Ulam stable if and only if it is uniformly exponentially stable ...

5,11‐Di(thiophen‐2‐yl)Tetracene: A Novel Tetracene Derivative for Efficient Singlet Fission with Enhanced Physical and Chemical Stability in Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, a new tetracene derivative, 5,11‐di(thiophen‐2‐yl)tetracene (2T‐Tc) is introduced, exhibiting enhanced physical and chemical stability, and retaining favorable singlet fission kinetics with near unity triplet pair yield in thin films.

Unique Performance Considerations for Printable Organic Semiconductor and Perovskite Radiation Detectors: Toward Consensus on Best Practice Evaluation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Stability of Continuous Time Difference Systems

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis
We propose new sufficient conditions for the exponential stability of a class of nonlinear delay difference equations with continuous time (DECT). The above conditions provide a direct estimation of the exponential decay rate of the system.

Global Stability of Complex-Valued Genetic Regulatory Networks with Delays on Time Scales

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2016
In this paper, the global exponential stability of complex-valued genetic regulatory networks with delays is investigated. Besides presenting conditions guaranteeing the existence of a unique equilibrium pattern, its global exponential stability is ...

On the stability of exponential fitting BDF algorithms

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 2005
AbstractWe present BDF type formulas capable of the exact integration (with only round-off errors) of differential equations whose solutions are linear combinations of an exponential with parameter λ and ordinary polynomials. For λ=0 new formulas reduces to the classical BDF formulas. Plots of their 0-stability regions in terms of λ are provided. Plots

Self‐organized Criticality in Neuromorphic Nanowire Networks With Tunable and Local Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Memristive nanowire networks (NWNs) are shown to be electrically tunable to a critical state where specific local dynamics evaluated by multiterminal characterization are exploited as feature selection in nonlinear transformation (NLT) tasks.

Stability of Exponential Functional Equations with Involutions

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2014
Let S be a commutative semigroup if not otherwise specified and f:S→ℝ. In this paper we consider the stability of exponential functional equations |f(x+σ(y))-g(x)f(y)|≤ϕ(x) or  ϕ(y), |f(x+σ(y))-f(x)g(y)|≤ϕ(x) or ϕ(y) for all x,y∈S and where σ:S→S is an ...
