Patch‐clamp recordings revealed that tamoxifen inhibits voltage‐gated sodium channels, especially under acidic conditions, both common in metastatic cancer cells. These effects may explain certain antitumor properties of tamoxifen, highlighting a novel mechanism of action beyond its known endocrine effects.

Generalized Semi Exponential Type Estimator under Systematic Sampling
In sample surveys, collection of auxiliary information together with the main variable of interest is very important to increase the efficiency of the estimators of population parameters of interest.

New $L^2$-type exponentiality tests
We introduce new consistent and scale-free goodness-of-fit tests for the exponential distribution based on the Puri-Rubin characterization. For the construction of test statistics we employ weighted L2 distance between V-empirical Laplace transforms of random variables that appear in the characterization.

A study of thermodynamic properties of quadratic exponential-type potential in D-dimensions
We solved the Schrodinger equation with Quadratic Exponential-Type Potential (QEP) model in D-dimensions using the Modified factorization method. The energy eigenvalues and total wavefunctions were obtained in a Gauss hypergeometric form.

Interplay between RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures in gene regulation
Methodological advances in mapping transcriptome‐wide RNA‐protein interactions and RNA structures have started to uncover the potential of RNP conformations in gene regulation. Competing RNA–RNA, RNA‐protein and protein–protein interactions shape the compaction and function of RNPs throughout their lifetime and may provide novel therapeutic targets in ...

Some Matrix-Variate Models Applicable in Different Areas
Matrix-variate Gaussian-type or Wishart-type distributions in the real domain are widely used in the literature. When the exponential trace has an arbitrary power and when the factors involving a determinant and a trace enter into the model or a matrix ...

Thrombolytic proteins profiling: High‐throughput activity, selectivity, and resistance assays
We present optimized biochemical protocols for evaluating thrombolytic proteins, enabling rapid and robust screening of enzymatic activity, inhibition resistance, and fibrin affinity, stimulation, and selectivity. The outcome translates to key clinical indicators such as biological half‐life and bleeding risk. These assays streamline the development of

The Complexity of Model Checking Higher-Order Fixpoint Logic
Higher-Order Fixpoint Logic (HFL) is a hybrid of the simply typed \lambda-calculus and the modal \lambda-calculus. This makes it a highly expressive temporal logic that is capable of expressing various interesting correctness properties of programs that ...
