Carleman estimates and absence of embedded eigenvalues

open access: yes, 2005
Let L be a Schroedinger operator with potential W in L^{(n+1)/2}. We prove that there is no embedded eigenvalue. The main tool is an Lp Carleman type estimate, which builds on delicate dispersive estimates established in a previous paper.

Generalization of Jensen's and Jensen-Steffensen's inequalities and their converses by Lidstone's polynomial and majorization theorem

open access: yesJournal of Numerical Analysis and Approximation Theory, 2017
In this paper, using majorization theorems and Lidstone's interpolating polynomials we obtain results concerning Jensen's and Jensen-Steffensen's inequalities and their converses in both the integral and the discrete case.

Hermite–Hadamard-Type Inequalities for h-Convex Functions Involving New Fractional Integral Operators with Exponential Kernel

open access: yesFractal and Fractional, 2022
In this paper, we use two new fractional integral operators with exponential kernel about the midpoint of the interval to construct some Hermite–Hadamard type fractional integral inequalities for h-convex functions.

Moment inequalities for functions of independent random variables

open access: yes, 2005
A general method for obtaining moment inequalities for functions of independent random variables is presented. It is a generalization of the entropy method which has been used to derive concentration inequalities for such functions [Boucheron, Lugosi and

Variational representations related to Tsallis relative entropy

open access: yes, 2019
We develop variational representations for the deformed logarithmic and exponential functions and use them to obtain variational representations related to the quantum Tsallis relative entropy.

n–polynomial exponential type p–convex function with some related inequalities and their applications

open access: yesHeliyon, 2020
In this paper, the idea and its algebraic properties of n–polynomial exponential type p–convex function have been investigated. Authors prove new trapezium type inequality for this new class of functions.

On Majorization for Matrices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
In this paper, we give several results for majorized matrices by using continuous convex function and Green function. We obtain mean value theorems for majorized matrices and also give corresponding Cauchy means, as well as prove that these means are ...

Unraveling the Heterogeneity of Cargo Distribution in the Exogenous Association of Proteins With Extracellular Vesicles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We characterized the distribution of cargo proteins associated with extracellular vesicles using various exogenous loading methods. In all cases, single‐particle analysis revealed that the distribution of protein content per EV is heterogeneous, following an exponential decay function.

On Certain Properties and Applications of the Perturbed Meixner–Pollaczek Weight

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
This paper deals with monic orthogonal polynomials orthogonal with a perturbation of classical Meixner–Pollaczek measure. These polynomials, called Perturbed Meixner–Pollaczek polynomials, are described by their weight function emanating from an ...

Gradient flow approach to an exponential thin film equation: global existence and latent singularity

open access: yes, 2018
In this work, we study a fourth order exponential equation, $u_t=\Delta e^{-\Delta u},$ derived from thin film growth on crystal surface in multiple space dimensions.
