A Comprehensive Review on the Fejér-Type Inequality Pertaining to Fractional Integral Operators

open access: yesAxioms, 2023
A review of the results on the fractional Fejér-type inequalities, associated with different families of convexities and different kinds of fractional integrals, is presented.

Optimal learning with $Q$-aggregation

open access: yes, 2014
We consider a general supervised learning problem with strongly convex and Lipschitz loss and study the problem of model selection aggregation. In particular, given a finite dictionary functions (learners) together with the prior, we generalize the ...

$k$-fractional integral inequalities of Hadamard type for exponentially $(s, m)$-convex functions

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
The aim of this article is to present fractional versions of the Hadamard type inequalities for exponentially $(s, m)$-convex functions via $k$-analogue of Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals. The results provide generalizations of various known fractional integral inequalities. Some special cases are analyzed in the form of corollaries and remarks.

Allosteric Modulation of Pathological Ataxin‐3 Aggregation: A Path to Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type‐3 Therapies

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers a new allosteric site in the Josephin domain of ataxin‐3 targeted by the molecular tweezer CLR01, which modulates protein aggregation, improves synaptic function in neuronal cells, and delays motor dysfunction in animal models.

Further geometric properties of the Mittag-Leffler-Prabhakar functions of Le Roy type

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications
This study aims to determine several geometric features of the normalized Mittag-Leffler-Prabhakar function of Le Roy type. These geometric properties include starlikeness and convexity of order-ζ, ξ-starlikeness and ξ-uniform convexity, lemniscate ...

Approximations and inequalities for the exponential beta function

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
In this paper, motivated by interest in simulating the expenditure patterns of construction projects, we introduce the mathematical concept of Exponential-Beta function by F(α,β):=∫01exp[xα(1−x)β]dx, $$ F ( \alpha ,\beta ) := \int _{0}^{1}\exp \bigl[ x^{\

Comparison of semimartingales and L\'{e}vy processes

open access: yes, 2007
In this paper, we derive comparison results for terminal values of $d$-dimensional special semimartingales and also for finite-dimensional distributions of multivariate L\'{e}vy processes.

A Microfluidic Digital Shutter of Liquid–Liquid Interface for Fabrication of Multifaceted Hydrogel Microfiber Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A programmable passive digital shutter based on multiphase liquid–liquid interface dynamics is introduced for precise fabrication of hydrogel microfibers. By modulating the shutter operation, microfibers with tunable geometry—including linear, helical, tadpole‐like, and spherical forms—are produced.

Super‐Robust Telecommunications Enabled by Topological Half‐Supermodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Through topological half‐supermode engineering, we realize a valley‐ridge gap waveguide that is directly compatible with conventional waveguides and features topological protection. This design halves the lateral size via a PEC boundary, enabling direct TE₁₀‐mode matching and robust bend‐immune transmission.

A Comprehensive Review of the Hermite–Hadamard Inequality Pertaining to Fractional Integral Operators

open access: yesMathematics, 2023
In the frame of fractional calculus, the term convexity is primarily utilized to address several challenges in both pure and applied research. The main focus and objective of this review paper is to present Hermite–Hadamard (H-H)-type inequalities ...
