Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Monitoring partially observed average kiloelectron-volt emissions using exponentially weighted moving average chart

open access: yesJournal of Radiation Research and Applied Sciences
The average lifespan of particles is a key parameter in nuclear physics, critical for identifying different particle types. Modern particle detectors are highly effective at detecting the arrival of individual radioactive nuclei and observing their decay

Design and performance evaluation of an exponentially weighted moving average–based adaptive control for piezo-driven motion platform

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2018
In this article, building a controlled system with velocity feedback in the inner loop for a platform driven by piezoelectric motors is investigated. Such a motion control system is subject to disturbance such as friction, preload, and temperature rise ...

Penerapan Peta Kendali Neutrosophic Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (NEWMA) X dalam Monitoring Rata-Rata Proses Ketebalan Kaca

open access: yesJambura Journal of Mathematics, 2022
In the industrial sector, the measurement results of a quality characteristic often involve an uncertainty interval (interval indeterminacy). This causes the classical control chart to be less suitable for monitoring quality.

Analysis of Moving Average, Weight Moving Average, Exponential Smoothing in predicting shoe prices

open access: yesJurnal Teknologi Informasi dan Pendidikan, 2022
Research related to forecasting is growing, starting with simple forecasting based on time or forecasting with certain criteria. Forecasting methods continue to be developed because they produce good models and can predict with high accuracy. The simplest method of forecasting is from the statistical value of the data, namely the average value or what ...

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Acceptance sampling plan for multiple manufacturing lines using EWMA process capability index [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The problem of developing a product acceptance determination procedure for multiple characteristics has attracted the quality assurance practitioners. Due to sufficient demands of consumers, it may not be possible to deliver the quantity ordered on time ...

Conductance‐Dependent Photoresponse in a Dynamic SrTiO3 Memristor for Biorealistic Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A nanoscale SrTiO3 memristor is shown to exhibit dynamic synaptic behavior through the interaction of local electrical and global optical signals. Its photoresponse depends quantitatively on the conductance state, which evolves and decays over tunable timescales, enabling ultralow‐power, biorealistic learning mechanisms for advanced in‐memory and ...

Web-based surveillance of respiratory infection outbreaks: retrospective analysis of Italian COVID-19 epidemic waves using Google Trends

open access: yesFrontiers in Public Health, 2023
IntroductionLarge-scale diagnostic testing has been proven insufficient to promptly monitor the spread of the Coronavirus disease 2019. Electronic resources may provide better insight into the early detection of epidemics.
