Balancing Electrons to Break the Activity‐Selectivity Trade‐Off in H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Carrier‐concentration balancing in CuS is achieved by coupling cobalt dopants with cobalt vacancies, converting CuS from p‐ to n‐type to accelerate 2e− ORR while withdrawing excess carriers to optimize *OOH binding for H2O2 desorption. The catalyst reaches 8.14 mol g−1 h−1 with >84% selectivity in 1.0 M KOH and drives robust electro‐Fenton dye ...

Solvent‐Free Manufacturing of Multifunctional Gas Diffusion Electrode Architectures for Enhanced CO2 Conversion From Low‐Concentration Streams

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A tandem gas diffusion electrode (GDE) leveraging hierarchically engineered microgranules enables efficient CO2 electroreduction under dilute CO2 conditions. A key innovation lies in the solvent‐free precision assembly of metal–organic‐frameworks, carbon nanotubes, and copper nanoparticles.

Built‐In Interfacial Electric Field in Hydroxyl‐Terminated MXene/COF Heterostructures for Enhanced Solid‐State Supercapacitors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Hydroxyl‐terminated MXene is integrated with a redox‐active covalent organic framework through electrostatic self‐assembly followed by hydrothermal treatment to construct MXene/COF heterostructures with a built‐in interfacial electric field. Termination‐controlled interfacial electronic modulation induces charge redistribution and favorable band ...

High‐Throughput Exfoliation of Optoelectronic‐Grade MoS2 via Turbulent‐Flow Wet Jet Milling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable wet jet milling exfoliation method is demonstrated for producing optoelectronic‐grade MoS2 nanosheets using environmentally friendly ethyl cellulose in ethanol dispersion media. Guided by fluid dynamics modeling, this approach is optimized to achieve record‐high exfoliation throughput and concentration.

Ricoeur on time: From Husserl to Augustine

open access: yesHTS Teologiese Studies/Theological Studies, 2017
The development in Ricoeur’s concept of time did not receive as much attention as his move from eidetic to hermeneutic phenomenology and his  Time and Narrative, with which it coincided.

Binder Engineering Suppresses Jahn–Teller‐Driven Mn Dissolution and Enables High‐Loading MnO2 Cathodes for Aqueous Zn‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A Zn2+‐coordinated poly(vinylidene fluoride) binder is shown to suppress Jahn–Teller‐driven Mn dissolution while improving dispersion, wettability, and structural integrity in thick MnO2 cathodes. This simple binder‐engineering strategy enables high‐loading aqueous Zn‐ion batteries with enhanced areal capacity, cycling stability, and practical promise ...

PRAGMA-STYLISTICS IN CINDERELLA MOVIE: AN ANALYSIS OF SPEECH ACTS AND FIGURES OF SPEECH AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

open access: yesJournal of English Teaching and Applied Linguistics
An utterance having pragma-stylistics elements has to be interpreted well because how the speakers communicate and the hearers interpret cannot simply be defined from the language features or the meaning of the words.
