Fractional calculus of generalized Lommel-Wright function and its extended Beta transform

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics, 2021
In this work, we apply generalized Saigo fractional differential and integral operators having $ k $-hypergeometric function as a kernel, to extended Lommel-Wright function. The results are communicated in the form of the k-Wright function and are utilized to compute beta transform.

Vanishing of the four-loop charge renormalization function in N=4 SYM theory

open access: yes, 2011
We calculate the renormalization constants of the maximally extended N=4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theories in the dimensional reduction scheme up to four loops. We have found, that the beta-function is zero both from gauge and Yukawa vertices.Comment: 6

Demonstration of one-parameter scaling at the Dirac point in graphene [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We numerically calculate the conductivity $\sigma$ of an undoped graphene sheet (size $L$) in the limit of vanishingly small lattice constant. We demonstrate one-parameter scaling for random impurity scattering and determine the scaling function $\beta ...

Poisson-Lie T-plurality of three-dimensional conformally invariant sigma models II: Nondiagonal metrics and dilaton puzzle

open access: yes, 2004
We look for 3-dimensional Poisson-Lie dualizable sigma models that satisfy the vanishing beta-function equations with constant dilaton field. Using the Poisson-Lie T-plurality we then construct 3-dimensional sigma models that correspond to various ...

Extended Holomorphic Anomaly in Gauge Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The partition function of an N=2 gauge theory in the Omega-background satisfies, for generic value of the parameter beta=-eps_1/eps_2, the, in general extended, but otherwise beta-independent, holomorphic anomaly equation of special geometry.

Bounds for the (p, ν)-extended beta function and certain consequences

open access: yesJournal of mathematical inequalities, 2023
Our main goal in this article is to present both upper and lower bounds for the (p, nu)extended Gauss' hypergeometric function and the related confluent hypergeometric (or Kummer's) function, the modified Bessel function of the second kind, with the extended Gautschi- Pinelis inequality (upper bounds) and with the aid of the classical Bernoulli ...

Half-lives and pre-supernova weak interaction rates for nuclei away from the stability line [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
A detailed model for the calculation of beta decay rates of the $fp$ shell nuclei for situations prevailing in pre-supernova and collapse phases of evolution of the core of massive stars leading to supernova explosion has been extended for electron ...

Adaptive Regularization Algorithms with Inexact Evaluations for Nonconvex Optimization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
A regularization algorithm using inexact function values and inexact derivatives is proposed and its evaluation complexity analyzed. This algorithm is applicable to unconstrained problems and to problems with inexpensive constraints (that is constraints ...
