A Method to Extend the Estimation Range of the Existing Time-Domain Doppler Centroid Estimators

In this letter, we use the summation-by-parts formula as a simple tool to extend the estimation range of a certain class of the already existing correlation-based Doppler centroid estimators. The resulting estimators are as robust as the original ones but cover a much larger estimation range of about 50% of the pulse-repetition frequency.

But spot array obtained by Shack-Hartmann wave front sensors (WFSs) turns extended and elongated, due to the thickness and size limitation of sodium LGS, which affects the accuracy of the wave front reconstruction algorithm.

In this paper, we extend the basic edge-weighted centroidal Voronoi tessellation model (EWCVT) for image segmentation to a new advanced model, namely fuzzy and harmonic EWCVT model. This extended model introduces a fuzzy and harmonic form of clustering energy by combining the image intensity with cluster boundary information.
