On the centroid of prime semirings
We define and study the extended centroid of a prime semiring. We show that the extended centroid is a semifield and give some properties of the centroid of a right multiplicatively cancellable prime semiring. We define and study the extended centroid of ...

A Bifunctional T3SS‐Effector Simultaneously Cleaves Host MAP Kinase and Inhibits PPM1A Phosphatase
Pathogenic bacteria exploit the metalloprotease effector NleD to subvert host defenses. Structural, biochemical, and infection analyses reveal a bifunctional mechanism by which NleD binds and inhibits the host phosphatase PPM1A while preserving its proteolytic activity against MAPKs.

5,5′-Dimethoxy-2,2′-[(nonane-1,9-diyldioxy)bis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol
The molecule of the title compound, C25H34N2O6, adopts a fully extended configuration. The oxime (—CH=N—O—) group is coplanar with the aromatic ring and the two benzene rings are almost parallel, making a dihedral angle of 0.
