ABSTRACT Structural variation is increasingly recognised as a pivotal contributor to genomic diversity in marine invertebrates, yet its extent and evolutionary significance remain poorly characterised in many species. Haplotype‐phased genome assembly is an excellent resource for studying such variations by comparing homologous chromosomes.

SenSeqNet: A Deep Learning Framework for Cellular Senescence Detection From Protein Sequences
We present SenSeqNet, a deep learning framework that predicts cellular senescence directly from protein sequences. SenSeqNet integrates embeddings from the Evolutionary Scale Modeling(ESM‐2) with a hybrid LSTM–CNN architecture to capture both sequential and higher‐order structural features.

KDM4A, a chromatin eraser, localizes to the centrosomes. Its demethylase activity is essential for maintaining centrosome number and integrity, independent of gene expression changes. Loss of KDM4A leads to centrosome amplification, pseudo‐bipolar spindle formation, and chromosome segregation errors, including micronuclei and chromatin bridges.

Diploid origins and early genome stabilization in the allotetraploid Arabidopsis suecica
Summary Polyploidization, followed by genome downsizing, is a recurrent evolutionary cycle that dramatically reshapes genome structure. Newly formed polyploids must quickly adjust their cell division machinery to maintain stable chromosome inheritance, while long‐term stabilization involves rediploidization, returning the genome to a diploid‐like state.
