Unextended Superfields in Extended Supersymmetry

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1979
In extended supersymmetry, we discuss the advantages of unextended superfields over extended ones and component fields. We show how to derive from the extended formalism the unextended superfields, and their extended supersymmetry transformations in unextended-superfield form.

Extended Supersymmetry and Gauge Theories

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1978
Abstract A formulation of gauge theories with an extended supersymmetry for N = 2 is given in terms of superfields. The Lagrangian is expressed in terms of superfields and component fields as well.

EXTENDED POINCARÉ SUPERSYMMETRY

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1987
Supersymmetric extensions of the Poincaré algebra in D-dimensional space-time are reviewed and a catalogue of their representations is developed. This catalogue includes all supermultiplets whose states carry helicity ≤ 2 in the massless cases and ≤ 1 in the massive cases.

Extended supersymmetry in the space-time R >= 3.

Physical Review D, Particles and fields, 1990
Following recent work on {ital N}=1 rigid supersymmetry in the curved space {ital S}{sup 3}, models with extended supersymmetry are examined. Unusual superalgebras with {ital N}=2 and {ital N}=3 appear.

Auxiliary fields in extended supersymmetry

Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 1987
A method is proposed for finding the auxiliary fields for all massless linear chiral representations of N-extended supersymmetry with arbitrary N. For each supermultiplet of free particles there exists a bilinear Lagrangian compatible with the supersymmetric rules of quantization and local with respect to the physical fields; the energy of systems of ...

Quantum Superspace, q-EXTENDED Supersymmetry and Parasupersymmetric Quantum Mechanics

, 1993
We describe q-deformation of the extended supersymmetry and construct q-extended supersymmetric Hamiltonian. For this purpose we formulate q-superspace formalism and construct q-supertransformation group.

Superparticle with extended worldline supersymmetry

Classical and Quantum Gravity, 1992
The authors consider the superparticle action of Sorokin, Tkach and Volkov (1989), which has both spacetime and extended worldline supersymmetry. They give a full off-shell description of the D=4,6 (N=2,4 worldline) cases in the presence of supergravity and gauge background fields.

Extended supersymmetry and gravitational instantons

Soviet Physics Journal, 1989
Methods of extended supersymmetry are used to construct explicitly an instanton solution of the Euclidian Einstein equations in empty space.

Self-dual Yang-Mills Chern-Simons Higgs systems with an N=3 extended supersymmetry.

Physical Review D, Particles and fields, 1994
Using the technique of dimensional reduction, we construct and study [ital N]=3 supersymmetric Maxwell Chern-Simons Higgs and Yang-Mills Chern-Simons Higgs models.
