Focus point supersymmetry in extended gauge mediation [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2014
We propose a small extenion of the minimal gauge mediation through the combination of extended gauge mediation and conformal sequestering. We show that the focus point supersymmetry can be realized naturally, and the fine-tuning is signifcantly reduced compared to the minimal gauge mediation and extended gauge mediation without focus point.

All partial breakings in N=2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ supergravity with a single hypermultiplet

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2018
We consider partial supersymmetry breaking in N=2 $$ \mathcal{N}=2 $$ supergravity coupled to a single vector and a single hypermultiplet. This breaking pattern is in principle possible if the quaternion-Kähler space of the hypermultiplet admits (at ...

N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ -extended D = 4 supergravity, unconventional SUSY and graphene

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2020
We derive a 2+1 dimensional model with unconventional supersymmetry at the boundary of an AdS4 N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ -extended supergravity, generalizing previous results. The (unconventional) extended supersymmetry of the boundary model is instrumental in

Flavor in SU(5)$SU(5)$ Finite Grand Unified Models

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 12, December 2024.
Abstract Four SU(5)N=1$SU(5) \nobreakspace N=1$ supersymmetric models which exhibit S3$S_3$ and/or ZN$Z_N$ symmetries are studied, that are finite to two or all loops, and their corresponding mass matrices. The first is an all‐loop finite model based on an S3×Z3×Z2$S_3\times Z_3\times Z_2$ flavor symmetry, which leads to phenomenologically nonviable ...

Refining the classification of the irreps of the 1D N-Extended Supersymmetry [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
The linear finite irreducible representations of the algebra of the 1D N-Extended Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics are discussed in terms of their "connectivity" (a symbol encoding information on the graphs associated to the irreps).

Coset construction of a D-brane gauge field

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
D-branes have a world-volume U(1) gauge field A whose field strength F=dA gives rise to a Born–Infeld term in the D-brane action. Supersymmetry and kappa symmetry transformations of A are traditionally inferred by the requirement that the Born–Infeld ...

On Calabi‐Yau Manifolds at Strong Topological String Coupling

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 12, December 2024.
Abstract It was recently shown that integrating out M2 states on Calabi‐Yau manifolds captures non‐perturbative topological string physics in the free energy. In this note, It has been shown that the resulting expression manifests a certain duality symmetry: the free energy at strong string coupling is equal to the Calabi‐Yau period at weak string ...

Supercurrents in extended supersymmetry

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1984
Abstract Using the generalization of Noether's theorem to superspace, spinor superfields in extended superspace are derived that satisfy generalized conservation equations. These spinor superfields are superspace moments involving the superconformal parameters of vector indexed supercurrents as in the unextended case. The vector indexed supercurrents

Constrained superfields in dynamical background

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
We study the nonlinear realization of supersymmetry in a dynamical/cosmological background in which derivative terms like kinetic terms are finite. Starting from linearly realized theories, we integrate out heavy modes without neglecting derivative terms
